C h o r e o g r a p h y

When I was 14, I was hired as the assistant dance specialist at Meadowbrook Country Day Camp in Long Valley, NJ, after being enrolled as a camper there for 10 summers. Since I was young, I loved performing in the camp’s annual dance show, so I was super eager to teach and choreograph for the younger campers. I ended up falling in love with it and went on to take over the full position and choreograph numerous routines on my own for five more summers!

Since my camp counselor days, I have been experimenting with choreography more suited for young adults and learning what kinds of dances I create speak to me and feel good in my body. My favorite style to choreograph is contemporary jazz with a commercial flair. It brings me nostalgia from dancing competitively growing up, and I combine it with my love of musical theatre. In the last year, I’ve been teaching drop-in classes for my friends and former classmates, and I’ve had a blast seeing another passion of mine come to life!
